Ad Trading Platforms

Suppliers of technology platforms that facilitate the buying and selling of advertising and the administration of these trades. Includes ad exchanges that enable impression level trading of online inventory as well as distinct services that aid media buyers in the planning, purchasing, administration and management of media (both online and offline). These technology platforms seek to improve process efficiency and deliver integrity for the information shared between media owners, advertisers, media buyers, ad servers, creative and production.

Ad Servers

Suppliers of ad servers that manage and report online ad delivery. These tools can prove they are capable of counting and reporting Ad Impressions in compliance with industry agreed standards (either JICWEBS or IABv6b) and by so doing help to reduce reporting discrepancies. We check compliance by validating reports for individual campaigns at a point in time, or by gaining confidence in the processes and controls able to be put in place on the ad server.

Ad Delivery

Suppliers of technical services that provide ad tag transparency for ad campaigns; to help verify correct execution of campaigns, reduce discrepancies and enable real-time monitoring and correction. Also includes tools for the detection of data leakage and malvertising in ad tags and content running across the entire online advertising ecosystem.
